Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Feb. 2

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 215.65 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, the lowest will be 125.01 liras at 02.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday’s electricity market decreased by 0.02 percent to 79.27 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 174.91 liras and 176.71 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 217.73 liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 129.99 liras at 23.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.75 liras, according to Turkey’s Central Bank data.
