Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Feb. 5

Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 83.97 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 217.41 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time, the lowest will be 161.99 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Sunday’s electricity market increased by 48.71 percent to 83.97 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Monday is calculated as 192.14 liras and 194.29 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Sunday was 218.02 liras at 19.00 local time, the lowest was 29.99 liras at 15.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.75 liras, according to Turkey’s Central Bank data. AA
