Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Feb. 4

Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 56.46 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 218.02 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, the lowest will be 29.99 liras at 15.00 local time, according to official figures on Saturday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Saturday’s electricity market decreased by 24.33 percent to 56.46 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Sunday is calculated as 147.97 liras and 147.95 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Saturday was 216.27 liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest was 98.94 liras at 23.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.75 liras, according to Turkey’s Central Bank data.
